Desktop Icons
The icons in this section are intended for use on your computers desktop, NOT on your website, please read the important notes below before using them.
These icons were all converted from the existing collection of icons in the AAA Clipart, some of them will work perfectly, others will look awful when you use them on your desktop. Why ?? Because they're 256 colour files, and the icons on your desktop will only display in 16 colours, UNLESS, you get yourself a little program called Microangelo which is available from Impact Software. This program will allow you to do things with your icons you wouldn't believe including displaying 16 million colour icons on your desktop.
To use the icons, save them onto your hard disk, then decide which icon you'd like to change on your desktop, RIGHT click on the icon and select "Properties" from the menu, when the window opens, select the "Shortcut" tab, then click on the "Change Icon" button, then finally click on the Browse button, find whereabouts on your hard disk you saved the icons to, select which one you want, and that's it.
